Fans who came to Red Rocket Field watched the Reno Rockets and the Vancouver Canadians fight to the finish.

The Reno Rockets had to overcome a big game from Vancouver designated hitter Jesús Castillo to leave Red Rocket Field with a 8-7 victory. Castillo was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Rockets bumped their record to 54-49 with this latest triumph.

Kwang-rak Song was the walk-off hero for Reno. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rockets pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Song told the Reno News.
