The Minneapolis Freeze picked up a win at Stanley Park, knocking off the Vancouver Canadians, 4-3. Starting pitcher Dane Manwaring was an essential part of his team's success. The Freeze' win now puts them at 56-45.

The Freeze got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Alex Moreno. For the game, Moreno went 1-1 with a home run. In the top of the tenth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Minneapolis a 4-3 lead.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Manwaring.
