Cats Take Nail-Biter Over Raptors
The Fort Worth Cats defeated the Omaha Raptors, 8-7. Earning player of the game honors was right fielder Joe Lee, who went 2-2 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs. Fort Worth reliever Shih-k'ai Mi got the win, raising his record to 3-2. Jason Engel was tagged with the loss. The first-place Cats have won 5 in a row.

The Cats got a big at-bat from shortstop Hyeon-cheong Ko. For the game, Ko went 3 for 6 with 3 singles. In the bottom of the 11th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 64th hit of the season gave Fort Worth a 8-7 lead.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ko told the Fort Worth Today.
