Stogies Clip Hornets in Tight Contest
Havana rode a decent outing from starter Joe Hardy to victory over the Eureka Hornets at The Humidor. The final score was 7-5. Havana reliever Felipe Arreola picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Alim bin Umar was saddled with the loss. The win brings the Stogies to 20-7, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Jesús Velásquez was the walk-off hero for Havana. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stogies right fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"This wasn't a good win," said Velásquez. "It was a great win."
