Bowling Green Racers starter Alain Picard turned in a top-notch performance against the Bronx Bombers at Top of the Hill. The result was a win for the Racers, 3-1. Bowling Green reliever Jaiden Harris picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Dost Ghuman absorbed the loss. The Racers bumped their record to 53-49 with this latest triumph.

Had Augustin Connors not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Connors hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Racers.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Connors said after the game.
