Cacti Bang Out 9-2 Win Versus Reno
|
The exploits of first baseman Kijuro Masuda, who was drafted in the two round of the 2025 draft, helped the Albuquerque Cacti defeat the Reno Raiders, 9-2. Masuda went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. The Cacti bumped their record to 55-47 with this latest triumph.
Munoto Okuta helped out the Albuquerque cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the designated hitter drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate. He scored 2 times.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Masuda said after the game.
