Fort Worth center fielder Adam Lowry played a vital role in his team's 4-3 triumph over Detroit. He went 2 for 2 with a double and a walk for Fort Worth. The winner was Shih-k'ai Mi in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Patrick Charbonnier took the loss. The Cats bumped their record to 51-46 with this latest triumph.

The Cats got a big at-bat from center fielder Don Bungay. For the game, Bungay was 1-3 with a walk. In the top of the 15th, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 34th hit of the season gave Fort Worth a 4-3 lead.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Lowry told the Fort Worth Today.
