Omaha pitcher Michael Walsh did his part in helping his team beat the Pasadena Bumblebees, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Jason Engel got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.2 innings. The 'W' lifts Omaha's record to 35-60.

Esteban Oliveira's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a splitter from Vince Johnson for a run-scoring single. It put Omaha in front, 4-3.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Oliveira said.
