Rockets Need Extras to Top Bomberos
The Reno Rockets picked up a win at Casa de Fuego, knocking off the Espanola Bomberos, 6-3. Starting pitcher Evan Charnley, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Rockets bumped their record to 48-45 with this latest triumph.

Reno relied on the hitting of Jen-djieh Chen to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rockets on top, 4-3. For the game, Chen had 1 triple and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

"Put this one in the bank," said Chen afterward.
