The Bowling Green Racers did just enough to sneak past the Reno Rockets, 4-3, at Top of the Hill. Bowling Green pitcher Cristoforo Giugino earned player of the game honors. Tony Nájera converted his 2nd save in 3 tries. The Racers bumped their record to 50-46 with this latest triumph.

Hideaki Fujita aided the Bowling Green cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Giugino said after the game.
