|
The Pasadena Bumblebees racked up a win at The Death Star, bumping off the Detroit Death Stars, 5-2. Jerry Kennedy, who started for Pasadena, pitched effectively for his team. António Mejía earned his 9th save in 13 chances. Pasadena now owns a record of 32-58.
Héctor Garza aided the Pasadena cause with a 2-run single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
