Prowlers Score Late, Upend Beavers, 4-2

The Prowlers grabbed a win, 4-2, at Waterfront Park, overcoming a fine effort from Portland pitcher Félix Reina. Reina went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The winner was Oklahoma City reliever Harold Hayne, now 1-0. The loser was Olivier Martin. Earning his 5th save for Oklahoma City was Soleh Purbacaraka.
The Prowlers got a big at-bat from left fielder Zhuo-cheng Min. For the game, Min was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave Oklahoma City a 3-2 lead.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Oklahoma City manager Evan Kiser.
The Beavers fall to 13-13 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
