The Fort Worth Cats bested the Canton Paczkis, 4-1, at Mckinley Park. Adam Lowry was named player of the game. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. Fort Worth reliever Callum Butler got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Goro Ota was tagged with the loss. The Cats bumped their record to 45-42 with this latest triumph.

David Huguet aided the Fort Worth cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.

Huguet told a Fort Worth Today reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
