Victory Pushes Racers Record to 48-42
|
Bowling Green and Chicago duked it out at The War Dome and the Racers came out victorious.
The Bowling Green Racers defeated the Chicago Titans, 6-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at The War Dome, with Bowling Green pitcher Alain Picard named player of the game. Tony Nájera earned save number 1.
Manuel Guzmán went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs for Bowling Green. The 22-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off William Clark. It was his 21st RBI of the season.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Bowling Green manager Jorge Magana.
The Racers bumped their record to 48-42 with this latest triumph.
