The Silver Lake Baristas beat the Reno Rockets, 5-4, at Ashton Gate. The win was largely due to the efforts of shortstop Tony Gómez, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Silver Lake starter Kagehisa Saikawa was credited with the win after throwing 100 pitches over 5.2 innings.
