The Antioch Coal Miners topped the Bronx Bombers by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Scott McFarland. McFarland went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Coal Miners on the day. Antioch reliever Colby Virella picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Maurice Oakley shouldered the loss.
