Sasquatch Lose to Blazers, 3-2

The Bloomington Blazers did just enough to sneak past the Seattle Sasquatch, 3-2, at Sick's Stadium. Bloomington pitcher Salah bin Atif earned player of the game honors. bin Atif, the winner, moves to 1-4. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 12 and giving up no walks. The Sasquatch fall to 11-14 and continue their uneasy start to the 2034 season.
Had Camden Mansel not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Mansel hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Blazers.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said bin Atif.
