The Chicago Titans eked out a 1-0 win versus the Bowling Green Racers at The War Dome. Nobody did more than pitcher Noritoshi Sato, who captured player of the game honors. The Titans bumped their record to 44-39 with this latest triumph.

Jason Corcoran was the walk-off hero for Chicago. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Titans second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring triple to send the teams home.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Jorge Magana.
