Mike Pope made an impact in the 10-5 Billings win over Peoria. Pope, who is tied for 4th in the DKL in stolen bases with 25, went 4-6 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Billings reliever Kevin Labbee picked up the win to move to 1-1. Jay Casbeer suffered the loss. The Mustangs bumped their record to 49-34 with this latest triumph.

Kendrick MacAulay hit a 2-run double off Jay Casbeer in the top of the ninth, which put the Mustangs in front, 7-5. In addition to the double, MacAulay had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Pope told the Billings Herald.
