The rain at Ashton Gate did not keep Reno and Silver Lake from finishing their game.

The Silver Lake Baristas got a superb performance from pitcher Koi-sho An, but the Reno Rockets still won the game, 4-3. An was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball. Harsha Majoo notched his 9th save in 11 chances.

This game was not decided until late. With two out in the top of the ninth, Yoshihiro Takahashi drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Rockets took the lead, 4-3.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Silver Lake manager Diego Aguirre.

Reno is now 41-43, Silver Lake 37-47.
