The Bronx Bombers defeated the Antioch Coal Miners, 4-3, in Darryl Kile League action at The Coal Mine, with Bronx pitcher Arslan Halit named player of the game. The last-place Bombers now have a win-loss record of 34-52.

Curtis Downing aided the Bronx cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Halit said.
