Rockets Come Back Late to Clip Titans
|
Reno Rockets starter Evan Charnley was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Chicago Titans, 6-3. Charnley, now 5-2, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing 3 earned runs. Harsha Majoo was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 8 of 10 save opportunities.
The Rockets got a big at-bat from designated hitter Milton Cloarec. For the game, Cloarec was 1-4 with a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 4th double of the season gave Reno a 5-3 lead.
