The Fort Worth Cats downed the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 9-4, at Stars Field. The Cats were led by Pat Yelland, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while scoring 3 times. The Cats bumped their record to 42-41 with this latest triumph.

Hyeon-cheong Ko's at-bat in the top of the eighth inning was a big one for Fort Worth. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 2nd and 3rd and Fort Worth leading 5-4, the designated hitter reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run.

"It was a solid team effort," said Yelland after the game.
