Mustangs Topple Canadians as Bettcher Shines
Jeff Bettcher left his imprint on the 9-4 Billings win against the Vancouver Canadians. Bettcher, who is rated as the 4th best prospect by BNN, went 4-4 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Billings reliever Norberto Bianchi picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-1. Domingo Trinidad was collared with the loss. Today's win puts Billings at 44-32, while Vancouver falls to 38-38.

Early in the game, third baseman Kerry Hood had a bases-clearing double for Billings. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Mustangs on top, 5-2.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Hood said.
