Racers Topple Raptors as Nicholson Shines
The Bowling Green Racers topped the Omaha Raptors, 11-6, at Top of the Hill. Bowling Green first baseman Frank Nicholson earned player of the game honors. He banged out 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 1 runs. Bowling Green reliever Daniel Carrasco was the winner. His record is now 3-0. Ross Batstone took the loss. Bowling Green is now 45-35, 2˝ games up in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

Had Won-keun Park not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 1st, Park hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Racers.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Nicholson. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
