The Albuquerque Cacti topped the Calgary Kodiaks, 5-4, in Nick Adenhart League action at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The player of the game was Albuquerque pitcher and Chofu, Japan native Kanichi Kaneshiro. Willie Fierro converted his 31st save in 37 tries. Albuquerque has now won 7 straight.

Early in the game, right fielder Chris Hillier had a bases-clearing triple for Albuquerque. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Cacti on top, 3-0.
