Tight Tilt Goes to Baristas, 4-3
|
Phantoms Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Silver Lake Baristas and the Coronado Phantoms.
Coronado left fielder Tobias Zeiler had a good game, even if his team did not. The Phantoms dropped a 4-3 decision to Silver Lake at Phantoms Field. Zeiler went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times. Silver Lake is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Had Chan-ho Lim not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Lim hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Baristas.
In postgame comments to the Silver Lake Daily News, Lim said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
