Victory Pushes Titans Record to 37-33
The Chicago Titans topped the Canton Paczkis, 8-4, with first baseman Félix Adame playing a big role. Adame was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Titans in the win. Guglielmo Tomei earned the win to go to 1-2. He allowed 4 earned runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. The Titans bumped their record to 37-33 with this latest triumph.

The Titans beat the Paczkis with some clutch hitting. The home run by Danny Melo in the bottom of the fifth is a good example. With two down, Melo gave his team the lead, 6-4, when he came through with the big hit.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Melo told the Chicago Herald.
