The Pasadena Bumblebees trumped the Peoria Caterpillars, 10-4, at Excavatar Park. Pasadena first baseman Dale Beeler was named player of the game for his performance. He was 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Even with the win, the Bumblebees have a dismal 21-51 record.
Mototsune Yamamoto, who is tied for 9th in the DKL in doubles with 13, aided the Pasadena cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the 12th. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk in 2 plate appearances.
