Getting a good performance from catcher Pablo Bermúdez, the Fairfield Flash defeated the Vancouver Canadians, 15-1. Bermúdez went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Flash. Joe Gillard earned the win for Fairfield. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing no earned runs on 2 hits, while striking out 7. With the win, he raised his record to 4-3. The Flash bumped their record to 38-32 with this latest triumph.

John Pinnock's at-bat in the bottom of the third inning was a big one for Fairfield. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Fairfield leading 1-0, the first baseman reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Pinnock said.
