Rhinos Sneak Past Hops, 6-5

The San Diego Hops and Rubber City Rhinos provided some drama at The Brew Stade.
Despite a great performance by San Diego left fielder Robbie Colwill, the Rubber City Rhinos defeated the Hops by the score of 6-5 at The Brew Stade. Colwill went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Earning his 1st save for Rubber City was Shinzo Sasaki.
The Rhinos got a big at-bat from second baseman Tekkan Tanaka. For the game, Tanaka was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 5th hit of the season gave Rubber City a 6-5 lead.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Tanaka told the Rubber City Herald.
Rubber City, now 2-1, has played well in the early going.
