The rain at Metroplex Park did not keep Dallas and Hawaii from finishing their game.

Dallas second baseman Juan Calderon was instrumental in his team's 9-6 win over the Hawaii Islanders. Calderon went 2-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Texans. The Islanders fall to 10-14 and continue their lackluster start in 2034.

Calderon had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Texans went on to win.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Calderon told reporters after the game.
