Mike Burge made an impact in the 15-4 Peoria win over Reno. Burge, who is tied for 6th in the DKL in extra base hits with 25, was 3 for 6 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. The 5th-place Caterpillars improved to 29-39.

Burge had a key at-bat for Peoria early in the game. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and gave Peoria an early 3-0 lead.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Burge told the Peoria Citizen.
