Multi-HR Game for Pollard in 11-4 Win
The Chicago Titans beat the Fort Worth Cats, 11-4, at LaGrave Field. The Titans got a fine performance from right fielder Steve Pollard, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Titans bumped their record to 33-31 with this latest triumph.

Pollard had a key at-bat for Chicago early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Chicago an early 2-0 lead.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Chicago skipper Tom Klein.
