Paczkis Need Extras to Top Rockets
The Canton Paczkis faced a tough opponent in Reno pitcher Anthony McIntyre, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Red Rocket Field by a final score of 5-3. McIntyre went 8 innings and allowed no earned runs. Canton reliever Cory Kieck was the winner. His record is now 2-4. Roy Aitken took the loss. Canton has now won 3 in a row.

The Paczkis got a big at-bat from catcher Micah Lee. For the game, Lee was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the 11th, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 31st hit of the season gave Canton a 5-3 lead.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Lee told reporters after the game.
