Victory Pushes Racers Record to 39-30
The rain at Ashton Gate did not keep Bowling Green and Silver Lake from finishing their game.

Koi-sho An pitched well, but his team, the Silver Lake Baristas, still dropped a 1-0 decision to the Bowling Green Racers at Ashton Gate. The Racers bumped their record to 39-30 with this latest triumph.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and no one out in the top of the fourth inning. That's when right fielder Sam Lynch, who is tied for 6th in the NAL in triples with 3, drew a walk. The Racers went on to win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Lynch, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
