The Reno Raiders topped the Minneapolis Freeze, 5-2, in Darryl Kile League action at The Ice Box. The player of the game was Reno pitcher and Cariari, Costa Rica native Jorge Mota. The winning pitcher was Mota, now 3-4. He tossed 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. The Raiders saw their record improve to 29-36.

The Raiders got a big at-bat from right fielder Ken Donovan. For the game, Donovan was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Reno a 2-0 lead.
