Fleury Dominates, Whitewashes Cats
|
Fort Worth dropped a 7-0 shutout to Bob Fleury and the Coronado Phantoms at Phantoms Field today. The Cats offered little resistance to Fleury, who stopped them on 4 hits, fanned 10 and walked 2.
"It just felt right today," the left-handed Fleury told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
On his stats sheet this season Fleury shows a 1-1 record, 5 starts, 27.1 innings, 34 strikeouts and a 3.95 ERA.
