Great Day for Lucero in Argonauts Win
|
Robby Lucero led Astoria to a triumph over Antioch. The final score was 7-3. The center fielder went 4 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 1 run and added 3 RBI. Ronald Lee got the win, improving to 4-2. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up no runs on 7 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The Argonauts bumped their record to 35-30 with this latest triumph.
Lucero had a key at-bat for Astoria early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and gave Astoria an early 2-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Lucero told the Astoria Herald.
