Victory Pushes Argonauts Record to 34-29
|
Golden Fleece Park was the site of a competitive game between the Peoria Caterpillars and Astoria Argonauts.
Morihiro Hashimoto pitched well, but the Peoria Caterpillars still lost the game, falling 4-3 to the Astoria Argonauts at Golden Fleece Park. The Argonauts bumped their record to 34-29 with this latest triumph.
The Argonauts got a big at-bat from third baseman Robby Lucero. For the game, Lucero was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Astoria a 4-2 lead.
"I really like what we did out there today," Lucero said after the game.
