Canton beat Albuquerque in a rain-soaked ballgame.
Canton Paczkis starter Goro Ota was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Albuquerque Cacti, 7-2. Cory Kieck was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 7 save opportunities.
Carl Questi, who is tied for 6th in the NAL in bases on balls with 40, chipped in for Canton with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
