Phantoms Lose 5-1 Decision to Aeropostales
|
It was a good time at Stars Field, where fans came to watch the Coronado Phantoms and Indian Wells Aeropostales get after it.
The Indian Wells Aeropostales got a stellar effort from pitcher You-liang Rang, helping Indian Wells score a 5-1 win over the visiting Coronado Phantoms. The winning pitcher was Rang, now 5-4. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4.
Anthony Miller hit a 2-run triple off Luis Ramírez in the bottom of the first, which put the Aeropostales in front, 2-0. Miller had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 4.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Miller told the Indian Wells Daily.
Indian Wells is now 31-32, Coronado 30-30.
