Jorge Olivo held the Omaha Raptors to 4 hits and fashioned a fine 8-0 shutout at Anchorage Municipal Stadium today.

Speaking after the game, Minneapolis Freeze manager John Justin said "Olivo had everything going for him today."

He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement," he said. "He was masterful."

Olivo rung up 4 strikeouts and surrendered 1 walk in the game.

"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Omaha manager Jim Fernández told reporters.

Thus far this season, Olivo has tossed 56.1 innings in 10 starts, fanned 45 batters, walked 42 and put up a 4.63 ERA with 4 wins and 4 losses.
