Victory Pushes Cacti Record to 33-28
|
The Albuquerque Cacti got a good effort from starter Luis García in defeating the Canton Paczkis at Mckinley Park. The final score was 5-2. García picked up the win for Albuquerque, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-3. The Cacti bumped their record to 33-28 with this latest triumph.
The Cacti got a big at-bat from right fielder Christophe Langlois. For the game, Langlois went 1 for 2 with a walk. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave Albuquerque a 3-2 lead.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," García said after the game.
