Parlato, Freeze Too Much for Bumblebees
A 4-RBI performance from Mike Parlato helped the Minneapolis Freeze beat the Pasadena Bumblebees, 12-4. Andrew Johnson picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-3. He struck out 3 in 5 innings. The Freeze bumped their record to 35-24 with this latest triumph.

The Freeze got a big at-bat from third baseman Mario Pérez. For the game, Pérez was 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the second, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 22nd hit of the season gave Minneapolis a 2-0 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Parlato said after the game.
