Bumblebees Turn Back Minneapolis, 4-3
|
Pasadena pitcher Wade White did his part in helping his team beat the Minneapolis Freeze, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Minneapolis, at 33-24, has lost 5 straight.
The Bumblebees got a big at-bat from center fielder Ian Wechter. For the game, Wechter went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Pasadena a 4-0 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Wechter.
