Cats Bang Out 8-3 Win Versus Canton
|
The 2034 season is getting ugly for Canton.
The Fort Worth Cats picked up a win at LaGrave Field, knocking off the Canton Paczkis, 8-3. On the mound for Fort Worth was right-hander He-ping Wang, who played a pivotal role in the win. Fort Worth reliever He-ping Wang got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Katsutaro Nishikawa was tagged with the loss.
With one out in the bottom of the sixth, David Huguet stroked a go-ahead run-scoring single. It was his 45th hit of the season and put Fort Worth in front, 4-3.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Wang.
Canton's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
