Mustangs Get One-Run Win at Astoria
Golden Fleece Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Billings Mustangs and the Astoria Argonauts.

The Billings Mustangs defeated the Astoria Argonauts, 5-4, in Darryl Kile League action at Golden Fleece Park, with Billings pitcher Scott Boorman named player of the game. Reliever Bryan Lynch picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. Artashes Injeyan took the loss. John Otten converted his 12th save in 16 tries.

The most important at-bat for Billings came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Kerry Hood reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, putting Billings up, 5-4.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Hood told the Billings Herald.

Billings is now 29-26.
