Irvin Leads Argonauts to Win
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Astoria Argonauts and Billings Mustangs came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Getting a good performance from center fielder Monte Irvin, the Astoria Argonauts defeated the Billings Mustangs, 12-4. Irvin went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Argonauts. The Argonauts bumped their record to 30-24 with this latest triumph.

Will Southern, who is tied for 7th in the DKL in bases on balls with 31, chipped in for Astoria with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBI.
