Mustangs Score Late to Upend Coal Miners, 10-7
The Antioch Coal Miners got a superb performance from third baseman Ichizo Hamada. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Billings. The Mustangs won the game, 10-7. In spite of the loss, Hamada was named the player of the game. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Billings reliever Mickael Raymond was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Daryl Wyles took the loss. John Otten was called on to finish, recording his 11th save.

Billings took a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, pinch hitter Al Nichol hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"We maximized our offense today," said Billings skipper Bill Martin. "That makes everyone's life easier."

The Mustangs bumped their record to 27-25 with this latest triumph.
